channel news asia is my favorite news channel. i watch it more often than the local ones we got here. besides, i think that CNA got the hottest and highly credible news reporters, mentioning the likes of cherly fox, andrea chow... and my crush gerard lam. nyahahaha! i think andrea chow will make a good cosplay character! i can imagine her donning an uber cute manga outfit.... think andrea as one of the sailor moon. kawaii!
yesterday. did i see it right? gerard lam back in front of the camera. he usually does business report before, but he went off air for quite sometime. then yesterday, saw him back delivering the headlines. i told my frend about me having a crush on him, he tought its ridiculous! y? hes cute naman diba? besides, i jus love the intellectual aura of news casters, except for the local ones we got here who are mostly biased and sensational in reporting. wateves. i love it that hes back.... LOL! its not kilometre its kilogram darling!
dinner. we had a foreign guest at dinner. i jus love it coz the conversation went somwat academic and very sensible, not the usual cheap talks about gossips and sports. i dont know how the topics came about. it varied from inspirational books to a bit of ancient history as in the story of the Vikings then about the Dead Sea Scroll then the Da Vinci Code later on about chinese history then asian culture then about Saint Francis then about the food we served for her... so on and on more weird topics came...mom really surpirsed me coz i didnt know she knew history so well. i seldom see her read history books. i love how the chat went by. thank gawd our guest is a culture vulture history freak. i was jus quiet most of the time coz my oral english is as bad as ever, im not confident i rather shut my mouth .............................................................................................. on the other hand. i know mom was upset coz i was kinda rough when it comes to table manners. i eat like a voracious man who is starving to death, and i always have this impulse to pick the food by hand - which my family members hated soo much. so there i was eating without grace, as if table manners and etiquette wer mere bluffs. in one occasion, i pickd the food near me by hand. mom saw it. she quickly gave me a disapproving glance. ooops! sorry! promise it would be the last! i dont pick food by hand wen we eat outside, i only do it at home.
after dinner. i went to my usual nightly hang out place. had a few drinks.
