This past few days have been a mix of highs and lows. Should I comment too much about the lows? I think not.

Anyway, about the highs: Last Friday, the package that I've been waiting for has finally arrived from Phoenix, Arizona. If you're wondering what it is, it's a red wristband - a Wordnerd Wristband. Thank you so much, Kathy - you rock!! It's now slung nicely around my wrist.

In the meantime, I'm awaiting 3 more items I've ordered online. Let me see ... 2 more wristbands, a pin and a To Have Heroes EP. That makes it 4 items in the pipeline.

On the other hand, I've successfully revamped my MySpace profile to make sure it speaks volume of my style and who I am. Also, my signature fonts used in whichever site I patronise, will be Georgia, which is also applied in my MySpace profile. Personally, it looked classy. Also, the font seems to be named after the city in the state of Atlanta, where Ryan Seacrest came from. Okay, I've digressed a fair bit. Back to topic ... if you see Georgia fonts in any message boards, Seth was there. Heh heh!!

And now a bit about the lows. Last Saturday, I was invited to a group conversation via MSN, with others whom I know little of. The only thing I know of them is that they are regular players of a game thread in another message board. When I talked a bit about David Cook to them, one of their responses was, "Who cares?". When I saw that reply, I was really turned off. WTF??!! Hello, if you don't like or don't know who David is, can you be tactful enough to at least say, "Err ... okay"?! Everybody has the entitlement to not like something or someone, but not the entitlement to be this blunt. Anyway, that person who made that scathing remark has been blocked in my MSN, never to chat with ever again. Somehow, I wondered why he would want to add me in MSN, when we have totally nothing in common. Bleargh.

As for the other low, I won't comment much, except to sum it up in a song. The song: Not Ready To Make Nice by The Dixie Chicks. Here are the key lyrics:

(Bridge)
Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I'm not sure I could
They say time heals everything
But I'm still waiting

(Chorus)
I'm not ready to make nice
I'm not ready to back down
I'm still mad as hell and
I don't have time to go round and round and round
It's too late to make it right
I probably wouldn't if I could
'Cause I'm mad as hell
Can't bring myself to do what it is you think I should
