alexander solzhenitsyn. 1918 - 2008.

russian history fascinates me. tell me stories about KGB, czars, labor camps and siberia and i would sure take the time to listen. it was back in college when i started to read more serious novels from my brothers bookshelf, first choice was Gulag Archipelago by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn.  if i hav the time to go back in my college's library, i could hav finish August 1914 and clean it from accumulating dust.

anyways last week, i started reading solzhenitsyn's "One Day in the life of Ivan Denisovich", i bought the book in a thrift store last year. then yesterday morning while watching BBC, i was shocked when it reported that the author of the novel im reading is dead. sad.

Candy Girl by Soviet. yeah! Esprit rocks for using this techno song for its TVC. reminds of erasure and those early ninetees dance track.

so its beethoven and not mozart. im enjoying one of the worlds greates symphony!

olympics is near!!!!!!!
