Today, is an official Non-working holiday...for regular people...

The holiday is actually on the 21st but the government moves holidays that fall in the middle of the week on mondays or fridays to allow people to have long weekends. Since i work in the BPO industry, i dont get to enjoy Philippine holidays. But i do get breaks from Canadian holidays since thats our market. I guess a perk of working on a local holiday, hopefully, which i'll find out later tonight is the possibility of no traffic, and less people on the MRT. Also, we get paid double...

Also, for those who work in the Quezon city, like me...but again does not affect me, August 19 is Quezon city day, and again, its a non-working day for them. So if you work in QC, you get a 4 day weekend. I think we get some sort of compensation again which is good for me, because i dont mind working as long as i get compensation...

Anyway, bye for now...will take a nap first...
