Chad Michael Murray Biography

Born in Buffalo, New York, Chad found a ready audience for his talents early on. When he was just four or five years old, the young ham performed skits and sang made-up songs for his large family which includes three brothers, a half-brother and a sister. At age fifteen, a high school football injury landed him in a hospital where a nurse encouraged him to pursue a modeling career.

Two years later, Chad won a scholarship from a modeling agency in Buffalo to attend a modeling convention in Orlando. There he met his destiny when an agent from Los Angeles spotted him and persuaded the seventeen-year-old to pursue his dream of acting after graduation from high school.

In 1999, the aspiring actor headed for Hollywood where he supported himself modeling for such clients as Skechers, Tommy Hilfiger, and Gucci while looking for a break. Soon after he arrived, Chad appeared in several guest-starring television roles including an episode of "Diagnosis Murder" (1993). Then he got the call he'd been hoping for. The WB's "Gilmore Girls" (2000) was casting for the role of Tristan DuGrey. They were looking for someone who was likable and charismatic but with an edgy side, and someone who had that certain "IT" quality. Chad was all that plus he had the perfect physical characteristics that the show's writers had in mind. The teenager won the role and has since made the character his own.

He admires the talents of actors Edward Norton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino Robert De Niro and Sean Penn and uses their influences in his work. Always a firm believer in clean living, Chad is a natural athlete. He played his favorite sport, football, in high school and keeps fit by working out at the gym, in-line skating, playing soccer, volleyball and basketball as well as football pick-up games. He is an anti-drug role model for kids and is active in charities for children and teens during his spare time. Before he married Sophia Bush on April 16th, 2005, Chad had set up house with a pug named Gus and a unique boisterous cat named Jack, who keep him from missing his large family too much.

Kevin Joseph Zegers was born Sep 19, 1984 in St. Marys, Ontario, and grew up in Woodstock, Ontario. He has two sisters, Katie (younger) and Krista (older). In 2002, he graduated from a Catholic boys school. His younger sister is married and has three children: twins Chloe and Mallory, and Brady James Pepper.

He is 5' 09" tall and weighs 145 lbs. He currently resides in Los Angeles, and is dating actress Marisa Coughlan.

He pronounces his last name "ziggers" or "zeegers."

Early Career
Kevin Zegers began his performing career at an early age, appearing in numerous commercials. He got his first film role at 7, playing the younger version of Michael J. Fox's character in Life With Mikey. He went on to appear in several films, including In the Mouth of Madness (1994), Thicker Than Blood: The Larry McLinden Story (1994), The Silence of Adultery (1995), Specimen (1996), The Cold Heart of a Killer (1996, aka Murder on the Iditarod Trail), and Rose Hill (1997). He also appeared in the Canadian TV series Traders (1996).

Especially notable in his early work was his guest appearance in the acclaimed science fiction TV series The X-Files. Zegers played the young stigmatic Kevin Kryder in the episode "Revelations" (episode # 3.11, broadcast Dec 15, 1995).

Air Bud
Zegers' career sagged for about a year, then received a major boost when he won the role of Josh Framm in Air Bud (1997). The gentle story about a lonely boy who befriends a basketball-playing dog launched a film franchise that spawned four sequels. Zegers appeared in four of the films, and also starred in a similar genre film MVP: Most Valuable Primate which featured a hockey-playing chimp.

Britney Spears is the high priestess of trailer trash

Every time I think that Britney Spears cannot become more trailer trash, she goes and becomes the black hole into which all other trailer trash in the Universe is sucked:

That would be Britney Spears in the latest issue of Bazaar being her very pregnant self.

1) That was disturbing when Demi Moore did it. It didn't end up being, as intended, a big feminist thing. It just ended up being wrong.

2) As the Hat-tip link points out, that is not even in the ball park of how Britney Spears looks. She is at the hind end of two kids and an imploding mairrage. I am amazed that Photoshop science has advanced to the point that she can look this palatable to the senses.
