I was on my way home last July 11, 2007. When there was a heavy rain. But before that, when i left my friends house, the rain was not that hard at all, it was just an ordinary rain, So i start my car and drive myself home. But something was wrong with my windshield wiper. It was not functioning well, or let's just try to say it was not working at all. Then, when i was about to turn into the main highway road, the rain was so hard, as if it had a fog with it or there was a storm. So i drove myself home into that unseen road highway, because i can't see the road at all, because the rain was so heavy and my wiper was not working at all and the crystals were moisted. When i was in the middle of the highway to our home, i did not noticed that iwas in the wrong lane, i just noticed it when there was a car with head lamps on infront of me blowing it's horn on me. So i went back to my lane and drive so slowly until i reached our home. That was really shocking, until now i could not forget it, it was so nice that the car infront of me was not having that fast speed and i thank God, my father and my angel, maybe they guided me. And i could not believed that i am still alive.

Drive safe home when it is rainy days...

Ron Mueck is a London-based photo-realist artist. Born in Melbourne, Australia, to parents who were toy makers, he labored on children's television shows for 15 years before working in special effects for such films as Labyrinth, a 1986 fantasy epic starring David Bowie.

Mueck then started his own company in London, making models to be photographed for advertisements. He has lots of the dolls he made during his advertising years stored in his home. Although some still have, he feels, a presence on their own , many were made just to be photographed from a particular angle - on e strip of a face, for example, with a lot of loose material lurking an inch outside the camera's frame.

Eventually Mueck concluded that photography pretty much destroys the physical presence of the original object, and so he turned to fine art and sculpture. In the early 1990's, still in his advertising days, Mueck was commissioned to make something highly realistic, and was wondering what material would do the trick. Latex was the usual, but he wanted something harder, more precise. Luckily, he saw a little architectural decor on the wall of a boutique and inquired as to the nice, pink stuff's nature. Fiberglass resin was the answer, and Mueck has made it his bronze and marble ever since.

Hmm. This is the second week since i ruled the house. My mom left for Australia and my twin brother is into his training to become a TUnker boy-ship. The most interesting of being the head of the house is that, i learnt how to budget things and i am the one who buy some groceries for me and my uncle. Ofcourse, my mom did not left me all alone, she left my uncle with me, who happened to be my mom's brother, but i am the king of our house. I do the budget, i list those things needed, as well as those who have some debt in our small business. One great thing happened to me today that make me feel so GREAT was that i were able to buy all the foods needed in our house with extra money left. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEhhh, i said to my self, hmmmm i can be a good head of the family. Ofcourse, i don't plan to get married, i will enjoy life and ofcourse work for my new profession which is i am a nurse. hehehe

I was watching it online today and they made a comment that was a bit disturbing to me. It was a scene when Terri Hatcher was being told by her GYN that she might be hitting menopause, and her reply was something like "Wait a minute, I need to check your credentials.. I have to make sure that you didn't get your degree from the Philippines."

This upsets me because there are a lot of medical professionals that have graduated from the Philippines. I don't think that a direct pun was necessary in this particular situation

here's the actual quote:
"can I just check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are not from some med school in the Philippines"

Tomorrow will be our oath taking as a newly registered nurses. I wonder what will happen tomorrow. But most of all i am so happy because my mom will be there tomorrow and she will going to have the first flight just to catch up for my oath taking. Glorietta 2 mall- mall bombing, i was sad and nervous

It is October 19,2007 at around 1.30 in the afternoon, Philippine Time. I was watching news just this afternoon, when there was a breaking news regarding the explosion of Glorietta 2 mall in Makati City. As of now there are 8 person who died and 93 people are injured and in Makati Med. To all my fellow Filipino, it's time to be vigilant, if ever it is bombing, i think it's time for us to be more vigilant. And pray for all those who were victims of bombing. Our deepest sympathy and condolence Visapinoy (Buddytour), Jewel_in_nursing. As of now, there is no final testimonial from the crime scene investigator if it is due to bombing or LPG leak explosion. But for me it was a bomb, if you only can see how the place was ruined inside, you would say, that it is not an LPG leak explosion but a bomb. Pray for those who died and hopefully the perpetrator will be caught and will be sentenced according to the degree of the crime it committed. I am sad....
