Note from the author: Hi everyone!I just finished posting chapter 13 and i'm having a sort of 'writers block'. So,i've come up with a few potential openings for the new chapters.Basically, i'll number 2 paragraphs from 1-2, you can tell me which opening i should use for chapter 14 by commenting.There will also be a few sentences below each opening to tell you what the opening is leading up to. Thanks, and feel free to comment.
Optional startings for chapter 14
1) Its official, I hate my life. I hate my life right down to my soggy Keds.
Every single day of 14 year old life, something has gone wrong. Today, on the other hand, everything went perfect.
PERFECTLY.
HORRIBLE.
Today started like a normal day- dreamt of Justin, was unwillingly woken up by a bullhorn saying what our ‘agenda’ for today was (cruise to Milford Sound, stop for lunch and then packing for our next trip), and embarrassed myself in front of Justin (this time I answered the door looking like I hadn’t brushed my hair for a week in my Donald duck pajamas. A much bigger improvement from yesterday though, when I shouted to my mum from the bathroom to bring me and extra bra and then realized that the Blanc’s had come over for breakfast, according to Jason I could’ve been heard in Timbuktu). Anyway, after a small visit to Blushsville, everyone forgot all about it (I hope) and carried on with their lives.
*this chapter will have immense embarressment, a hint of romance and Danielle headlining in New Zealand's local paper?
2)“You know Danny; you’re so different from the other pretty, sugary-sweet girls.”
“Oh…okay” (Was that a complement wrapped in an insult or the other way round?)
“I mean you’re really pretty but you’re not afraid to rough it, like in the glow worm caves, any other girl would have squealed her lungs out.” (He obviously didn’t know what had been going on in my head in the caves)
“Mmm…hmmmm” (At this point I’m just trying to make out if Justin can hear my pounding heartbeat.)
Then suddenly he leaned in so our noses were barely an inch apart....and so, i did what i do best, i messed up.
BAD.
*this opening is basically a continuation of the first one so this one is going to include Dannielle making headline news, soggyness and possibly... a kiss????
