Diary Secrets unlocked(chap 3&4)

“I don’t think I will ever feel my feet again” I moaned as I climbed out of the air craft.

The fourteen hour flight did not do my skin good; it looked all dull and lifeless as I looked into my pocket mirror. As I put it back in my purse I looked around and realized there were three gorgeous boys in the airport that looked my age, one was even looking at me! Suddenly conscious of myself I hurried into the girls’ bathroom for a make-up retouch.

After retouching, I smiled to myself in the mirror and reminded myself that I wasn’t with gorgeous Gabrielle or Samantha, and for once I was in the spotlight. Don’t get me wrong, I love them to death but sometimes it hurts being told “sorry Danny didn’t see you standing there” by the guy you’ve been crushing on for two months, who had been too busy concentrating on Gabrielle’s upper body. Something told me he hadn’t been looking at her necklace.
Suddenly I remembered that in my haste I had forgotten to tell my parents where I was going and ran to go and find them. Thankfully, mom, dad and some couple I had never seen were so deep in conversation that I don’t think they even knew I was gone. As for my brother he was chatting up a girl who was way out of his league. As my eyes hovered around the airport I caught sight of the cute guy who had been looking at me before, he was talking to a guy that looked like his younger brother.

After I shopped at the duty free shops I realized that the couple mom and dad were talking to probably were the blancs’. As I tried to remember if I saw any five or six year olds, my phone rang and I forget all about it. As I returned to my parents I saw cute guy with his brother talking to the blancs’
Oh My God!
Cute guy was a blanc! And so was his brother!
My dad had told me earlier that we were going to the same places, at the same time in New Zealand with the Blancs. My dream holiday just got dreamier.

Chapter 4

Dad had rented out a huge caravan for the Blancs and us so apparently Cute Guy and I are were going to spend a lot of time together. I am officially the luckiest girl in the world.

“Hi I’m Justin, you’re Danielle right?” Cute Guy-Justin stammered. As he said those words not only did my heart do back flips and start a conga line, Justin was so red he could have come of as a abnormally huge rose.

“Ya huh, I mean ya” I spluttered. I was amazed at myself for even saying something, let alone a whole sentence. Come on, this guy was hot.

“Cool, well that is my younger brother Jake” he said, pointing to the younger kid he had been talking to earlier on. His accent was so cute! It was a typical Australian accent with a hint of Americanness. He then told me that he had lived in New Zealand for 10 years of his life and then he moved to Britain - which explains the accent.
“Oh this weather is just marvelous, how you doing back there Danny? You know Danny used to start shivering at 24’C! When we came 11 years ago I remember that that her mother used to put her 3 year old bear bottom in front of the fire plac-”

“Dad! I don’t think they need to know that!” I felt myself blushing so hard that l was afraid to look into my pocket mirror ‘cause I thought I might see a red rose staring back at me. I shot a nervous glance at Justin. He had practically shoved his whole fist in his mouth to stop himself from laughing and as a result he was a brilliant shade of purple .I couldn’t make out if any laughter had escaped from him because Jason had been laughing so hard and so loudly that he fell out of his seat in the caravan in which he had been playing his game boy two minutes ago and had started banging his fists on the caravan floor. Come on it wasn’t that funny. Was it?

Well, let’s be happy for small mercies, at least he didn’t have pictures. After the laughter died down – I told Jason to shut up or I’d tell mum and dad that his previous B+ had been a D+ - Justin’s Dad started to talk.

“Speaking of bare bottoms, Justin was so immune to the cold that he used to run round the house in absolutely nake-"

“Da-aaaaaaaad! You’re embarrassing me!”
Now it was my turn to shove my fist in my mouth and his turn to become a rose – thank you Mr. Blanc. Alex started to laugh too, although not as hard as he had done before. I wonder why…
