I know, it sounds like some big bad joke gone wrong. Especially on April Fool's Day itself, with our store Stock Take taking place. I wonder how many customers came down with the intention of doing some book shoppin until they drop, only to realise that we're closed today for our annual stock take. It definitely sure will leave quite a lot of people with a sour taste in their mouths...

Either something went wrong with the shelf or that they are trying to finish this shelf fast..

It's not really much, but at least it shows everyone working and having fun. I had originally planned to take a shot of everyone tucking into their lunch which consists of chicken rice. But then, there were so many unknown faces that I decided against doing it, lest they came running after me with chicken rice, spoon and chilli in hand for taking unflattering shots of everyone eating...

Anyway, I heard that during last year's Stock Take, everything was dragged until 11:00pm late as the outsiders they hired to help kept scanning everything wrong and all the shelves had to be re-scanned, re-counted and re-checked. Hopefully, this year will be a little bit better. I was suddenly down with a sligjht migraine and was given the green light to knock off at 6:00pm while the rest continued with the remaining work. Hence that's why there's only 9 photos taken and uploaded. Hopefully, next year, I am able to take more photos than usual..
