yeah as you all know i just returned from langkawi and sarawak, and it was it was awesome. the last couple days was really cool i was kicking it with the tribes, you'll see just watch the show. anyway thats not what im here to talk about. Why the heck to people insist on stopping and talking right when they get off the escalator? you know? before they get on or right when they get off they stop and talk like, 'are you sure we wanna go down?" or they do the lost point, where they point around, "is it up there or down there" jeez, people are trying to get by! an then it gets backed up and people are forced to walk backwards. i freaking hate that.

hahah. I never meet anyone like that. Guess the most suitable answer is they want to lengthen the time they get to stand near Sir Colby [j/k]. If I ever see you near an escalator, promise, I won't stand in your way :"D Have fun!

If you were talking about Singaporeans, we do seem to have this kind of issues.

I was walking along the pathway with my UK friend the other day and he went, "Watch this." So there were some passerbys walking towards us, and my friend did not dodge them(as he usually does) and the man bumped into him even though there was a generous amount of space on the pathway.

We seemingly have an issue with giving way to people. Even if you weren't talking about SG, well, IDK, guess it happens quite often everywhere =\

Oh oh oh, pardon me for the superfluous comment, but just wanted to say hi. I'm not sure if you'll remember me, but I was the one who enrolled your travel insurance at AIG today... I just knew I've seen your face from somewhere *blush.

Enjoy your China trip! :)

Sorry to interupt your ranting about chicken feet and clueless people on escalators. I want to ask you a question: You are a VJ for MTVasia and obviously, work, were born in, and live in Asia. Yet as a VJ and part of MTV, you and your fellow VJs promote western music and the ideas and values contained in it. What, do you think, is the effect of western music and the ideas it contains on Asian society? Obviously, asian youth ARE NOT mindless and easily influenced idiots that can be brainwashed by music. However, it is foolish to think that western music does not influence their behavior. So again - What, do you think, is the effect of western music and the ideas it contains on Asian society? Is it a positive influence, a negative influence or a combination of both? As an american born eurasian, you have your own unique views about this issue. What goes on in your head? What role do you see yourself and your fellow VJs as playing in the current youth culture in Asia?
