Well there is a song which I have liked very much recently and I was about to post it here when today while watching MTV I saw the artists of the song are the motoalert artist of the month. The motoalert artist of the month are-
Ustad Sultan Khan and the Divas
Ustad Sultan Khan is one of the foremost sarangi players of India, renowned for the emotional depth of his playing and his extraordinary technical and melodic control over this difficult string instrument. Ustad Sultan Khan also has composed and recorded music for films, such as In Custody and Ghandi. But his true devotion and love lie in playing the classical music of India.Sunidhi Chauhan
Sunidhi Chauhan's brush with singing began in right earnest in front of the Lord himself. Sunidhi gave her first performance at the age of four at a local temple in Delhi and everybody noticed her voice. It was here that the foresight of a supportive family came to her aid. Realising that her daughter had a gift in her voice and the place for her to be was Mumbai the family migrated to the city. After striking old with the song "Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi" from Mast, she has steadied her position and no longer is considered a greenhorn with plum assignments seeking her.
Shreya Ghoshal
Bollywood first heard Shreya's sweet-as-honey voice picturized on Aishwarya Rai, in DEVDAS and Shreya quickly became one of the top female playback singers in tinseltown. From winning accolades as a child singer to working with some of the top names in the film and music business, the journey was not very hard for Shreya as she has become an young achiever in such a short span. She has recorded in Tamil, Telugu (with elan), Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi besides Hindi.
Chitra
A multi-faceted singer, heralded as the nightingale of South India, Chitra has built a formidable reputation and repertoire as a playback singer for Hindi and South Indian films. Chitra’s distinctively melodious voice coupled with her musical expressiveness is both pleasing and intriguing. With over 11,000 songs to her credit, she has won innumerable awards for songs in all the four South Indian languages and Hindi, including five National Awards, several awards by various state governments, the Cinema Express Award and Screen-Videocon Awards, to name a few.
