Nike Air Flight Baller AP….This is my first pair of Nike basketball shoe after I ramp off my previous Black Reebok DMX into a bunch of smelly fabric + rubber which has served my elephant foot for more than 2 years. This new baby definitely leaves a big hole in my cash-skinny wallet after I walk out happily from Studio R sports outlet in Sunway Pyramid with a big orange Nike Just Do It box. When I was sitting on the crouch fitting the shoe, I saw a little boy was also fitting his pair of Nike kids sandal and his father was beside him probably waiting for this young fella who looks like only 5-6 years old to get himself satisfy and leave the tough job for his father at the cashier later on. Then my eyes focused towards his father’s foot, guess what, I saw only a pair of cheap BATA(Buy And Throw Away, hihihi) slippers…Wow, this young fella sure knows how to enjoy life compare to me! I think I am wearing only a pair of ‘Leepok’ shoe which bought from pasar malam in a cowboy town where I grew up when I was at that kid’s age and a pair of China made “Xiao Yao” brand white school shoe when I was in secondary school…After more than 2 decades only I got my first pair of Nike basketball shoe(with my own hard-earned cash of course!), but that young fella can go out chasing around with his friend on evening at the playground with a 3-digit-price sandal. Is this a good thing for that young fella? Well, leave it to you all to judge….For me, I would like to thank my parents for bringing me up well without turning me into a ‘manja kia’ and I appreciate everything that I earned for myself. I am having a hard time with my current life and my future is still foggy. Let’s just keep my fingers crossed for a brighter and a better one…..
