in the philippines when you ar

in the philippines when you are a physics undergrad some would usually say that teaching would be the only job youll end up with when you graduate. whats wrong with that anyway? well, actually teaching is the most dignified job of all and theres nothing wrong with that. i might be even proud if i become one. the only flaw in the argument that i have laid in the beginning is that there are a lot of career possibilities and paths that you can go to when you take up physics. in fact in the u.s. they hire physicists over engineers whenever job hirings are made. but i dont mean to debase engineers here, actually engineering is a good field of study. ive considered engineering before when i was in high school but when i graduated physics took my heart away. aside from the scholarship grant that i was able to have which has good incentives i believe that taking up physics would be a good trianing ground for me. i was able to appreciate physics well when i entered college. most of my professors are as young as 20 and they are very inspiring. back then there were only a few who took up physics. that was years before but now it is dramatically increasing and its a good sign though. i just hope that in the end filipinos would cease to think that physics is not a promising field of study.c:
