It came as a shock when I found out that Wayne passed away in his sleep yesterday morning. My heart goes out to Wayne's loved ones and family. Wayne has been a wonderful friend, always supportive and wanting to do things for the Singapore music scene. He's also one awesome drummer! I have fond memories of Wayne and I want to remember the happy times. It's been a privilege to know Wayne and count him as a friend. Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm very excited and looking forward to the Champions League Cup Final against AC Milan next Thursday morning. Two years ago, it was an amazing final against AC Milan when we came back from 3-0 at halftime to make it 3-3 in the second half. Of cos, we won the penalthy shoot-out in the historical final.

AC Milan would want revenge and they're an excellent side with Kaka and Gattuso such incredible players. But Liverpool are a strong team too and I believe if we play to our very best, we can beat AC Milan.

 Come on you Reds!

I've tendered my resignation and will be leaving end of May. It's scary to leave the comfort zone and I've been with the company for many years. But this is something I have to do. I'm excited to go out on my own, to do what I'm passionate about and to have flexible time. I'll be poorer but I know I'd be a lot happier.

I love the Mosaic Music Festival! Last year, I watched Kings Of Convenience, Jason Mraz and the Pat Metheny Trio. Tonight, I'm going to catch Yo La Tengo! I've been a big fan for years so I'm really looking forward to tonight. Am catching Rachael Yamagata on Saturday. And on Wednesday, I'm going to watch Olivia, which isn't part of Mosaic though. But it's all good.

I'm not a huge Joss Stone fan but I like her new album. She's got an amazingand really soulful voice.

I've had a fab weekend. Wish it was longer though. Am now watching the Academy Awards on TV. Heh.

I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. I think it's stupid. Everyday should be Valentine's Day. The commerical and retail sector invented this day as a profession of one's love to his/her partner. Some people are just so pressured to do something wonderful for his or her boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife on this day. And florists and restaurants make a killing with their V Day specials. It's just another day. Show love every day and give your time to your loved ones. Life is short.
