it's been a while since my last blog and a lot has happened since. i finished my second ftv, had a car crash on my way back from bandung (let's say im so glad i wore my seat belt!!), shot an exciting episode of mobbed in sukabumi where i tried wallclimbing, rapelling and other outdoor activities that really gave me the adrenaline rush since im afraid of heights. I also went to jogja as a volunteer with my youngest sister charlotte to help out which really felt good, and my fox terrier dog "Axe" died 2 days ago.
when i look at what i just wrote im like...hmmm thats alot of ups and downs for almost three weeks without blogging. i was glad i finished my ftv since its hours of work per day, the car crash was horrible my car couldnt start but good thing nobody got hurt. i didnt drive cus i was asleep when it happened...hmmm Anyway then i got rid of my fear of heights...well a small part of it lets say since i always stress out before taking a flight :P
my trip to jogja was satisfying and overwhelming...to see the victims still smile after all they've been through. im so happy i got to participate with OBI (obor berkat indonesia) to distribute food, clothes, blankets and other needs. its a different feeling when you're there on the spot...hard to describe with words...
then my dog got hit by a car just in front of my house. i was sleeping when it happened. he decided to run out the gate that day...sigh...im not gonna write too much about my dog.
So i've been shooting my usual mtv shows and im really looking forward to going to france at the end of the month to go see my family and friends there...i think i need a break :] summer in paris...ah! i just looove it!

ok, im in my room reading thru my script for my 2nd ftv im shooting tomorrow morning. it's pretty late but cant' seem to sleep just yet...butterflies in ma tummy!
raced home at 8 pm after shooting Mtv getar cinta, and watched my first ftv wth my family :P
I had so much fun in my first ftv...the crew was just so friendly and helpful. theres this action scene where i got to punch one of the actors...we did all the training wth professional action coaches but i managed to really punch the dude...my first experience punching someone!! thank god he didnt get angry cus he cldnt anyway> he told me to punch him for real...so i just did as i was told. i didnt break his nose but it is a little bit deformed now. i checked on him while watching the film earlier by phone...it's all good he said :D phewwww...
Anyway, its so weird to see urself acting...im glad i got some positive response from ppl sms-ing me but deep inside ur never satisfied...so yeah i need to do better.
if any of u guys have tips on acting... ;) but not just the usual tips like watch movies, read books on acting or go to an acting class...i want innovative and bizarre tips from anybody out there hehehe
so now im just gonna go back to reading my script...cant believe they just gave it to me today...sigh...its a cool comedy about this independent dj girl that gets forced to marry a man her grandfather chose. modern vs traditional ways of life...hmmm i cant wait to start spinning...i mean to act like i can spin...dj cathy...dj katya in the movie...hmmm

hello mobbers!
let me introduce myself :) im cathy, part indo part french and i work for Mtv indonesia. I have been pretty busy these past weeks which explains why im the last vj to blog here...hehehe i've been sleeping only 3 to 4 hours daily the past 2 months since i finaly got the courage to start acting this year. But im enjoying every minute of it!! today's my first day off and i've just been maxin' relaxin' ...I'm starting to shoot again on monday so got to prepare myself mentally and physically :P
I have to say i have never blogged in my entire life and i dont really know what to write so im just gonna write anything thats on my mind...that's the whole point right?! ;)
im starting to get the hang of it slowly but surely...so that's it for now.
