In the Old Testament, there are many accounts of how kings or prophets would cry out to the LORD for their nation, and the LORD would graciously hear them, and stretch out His mighty arm and save the people. Every time this occurred, it was because of a cry of someone for God to move.

Today, we are called to be kings and priests unto the LORD, and just like the Israelites of old, the key to God saving our nation is crying unto the LORD. Prayer is the church acknowledging that without God we can do nothing! Unless we first get on our hands and knees in prayer, all the planning, all the marketing, and all the performances will amount to nothing. If God does not move, all our efforts are in vain. Prayer is the Key!

 “Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again” (1 Kgs. 18:37).

May this be the heart cry of the churches in Singapore. Let us come together and unite in prayer for this Christmas season, that our nation would know that the LORD He is God and that He may turn many hearts to Him this Christmas. Amin...
