No matter how often you fail to believe it, nor how you try to hide it,

The inexorable taint of Godliness is upon you,

There are times that you wear it like a badge of honour,

Often you hide it like a leper’s scar hoping that none will see.

The Merciful simply laughs like a new parent watching a child failing in its attempts to take a first step,

Laughs in Joy and adoration as that child learns more with each collapse of its legs.

Adoration that that child returns in whatever way possible,

Smelling of feces and happily urinating on its care taker.
