My friends and I got most of our vacation planned out.  We will arrive in the Philippines Feb. 22 and from there we'll be going to Pangasinan where we'll stay for 3 days and then move on to Ilocos norte.  We'll be there for 4 days then head back to Manila where we'll stay for 2 days.  We will then head off and stay in Cebu for 4 days and from there go to Boracay.  We'll be hanging out there for 5 days then go back to Manila.  The next day we'll be going to Hong Kong where we'll stay for 3 days after that head back to Manila and we'll be departing Philippines on March 15!  Man, my vacation is going to be exhausting.  Thank goodness I've been working out, so that way I'm ready for all the flying and walking.  I get motion sickness and my bestfriend is really afraid to fly and now here she'll be flying in and around the Philippines...hahahah.  I guess the best way to conquer your fear is to face is head on.  So hopefully with all this flying she won't be as afraid as she is now.  How do I get over motion sickness?  Lol...I'll just have to take motion sickness pills.

I can't wait for my vacation!!!

I finally got my vacation approved last tuesday.  I can't wait, this time my trip back home to the Philippines will be three weeks long.  More time in Boracay...less time in the province.  We're going to several places again.  This trip we're planning to go see Pangasinan, Baguio, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Cebu, Boracay and of course tour the malls in and around Metro Manila hahahha.  It's going to be an exhausting trip with all the travelling, but we plan to stay in Boracay and rest for about 5 days.  I can't wait, it's going to be fun.

I've already started my diet so I'll be bikini ready for Boracay hahahha...No rice!  It's been a week now and I've only eaten rice once...and it was barely a few spoon fulls.  I've been eating a lot of salads and fruits.  I think being on this diet is more expensive.  I've been eating a lot of fruits and nuts and they're expensive.  The raspberries I love to eat is like $3 for a small container and the walnuts are about $3 a pound.  Anyways...I'm always hungry now hahahha.

Oh Happy New Year everyone!

Christmas is all done.  Now gotta get ready for the new year...2009!  Seriously 2008 went by too fast...another year and a year older.  My Christmas was good.  My family went to midnight mass, we don't do noche buena so we just took family pics and then went to bed.  My sisters and I didn't get up until I want to say noon hahahha.  We don't have kids in our family.  Most of our family is in the Philippines and the ones here don't celebrate Christmas because of their religion so it's just my parents and my sisters.  Christmas is not as fun as when you have kids in the family.  My mom cooked all day and we had an early dinner.  It was a relaxing day, after my we opened our gifts we just sat around and relaxed.  My friends came over to say wish us a Merry Christmas so I didn't have to leave the house at all.

Went to work today and it was slow.  Out of the 20 people in our department only 8 of came to work, so very quiet.

In a few days it'll be Christmas! Yay! hhahaha...at least this year I'm more prepared and enthusiastic about it i., I got all my shopping done last weekend and I wrapped all my gifts friday night.  I'm soooo glad I started my Christmas shopping early.  I spent a whole week going to the mall after work. There weren't a lot of people out at the time...could it be because of the recession?  I don't know since I still see a lot of people going to the casinos.  For some reason I've been to going to casinos lately.  Just this month I went twice.  Once was after my family had a dinner celebration for my younger sister's engagement and one was after my friends and I had our annual Christmas dinner where we exchanged gifts.  The first time I won $30...yoohoo that's the most I've ever won!  hahahha...I've no luck in gambling, I just go for the fun of it and $20 is the most I'd spend.  Anyways...when I was at the casino it was still full of people, I guess the recession is not effecting everyone, not the old people anyways.  I always see a bunch of old people at the casinos even at like midnight or later.  That's usually the time I go with my friends to the casino, very late at night...

Anyways...Happy Holidays everyone!  Merry Christmas...ho ho ho...happy new year!

We set our clocks back one hour last night and now I'm all out of whack! hahaha...last night I went to bed at 2 because technically it was already three and this morning I woke up at 11 because it's suppose to be 12!  I was happy about the time change because I'd get an extra hour of sleep, but no such luck, my internal clock did not change I woke up automatically after 9 hours of sleep so it didn't matter that I was up at 11 am...yeah I sleep a lot hahah.  During the weekends I try to get as much sleep as possible because well I love to sleep in!

Anyways...another day of bad weather, but at least it's not raining right now just downcast.  I hope to see some sun light soon ^_^

It most definately feels like fall now.  It's been raining since thursday on and off.  It stopped raining for Halloween though.  Not a lot of kids came to our house to trick or treat, it seems less and less kids come around our neighborhood to trick or treat these days.  The kids are funny this year though, because they didn't seem to know what to say when they came to the door.  I was the one saying Happy Halloween to them when I opened the door.  Anyways...it was an uneventful holiday.  I didn't dress up nor did a lot of people at work.  My department is not very good at getting into the holiday spirits ahahaha.  Oh well...

The weather is depressing, it's dark when I go to work and it's dark when I leave work so I haven't seen sunlight in a while hahaha.  It's saturday now and I haven't left the house because it's been raining all day.  I Feel sort of lazy.  This type of weather always does...I didn't even bother getting out of bed til about 1 in the afternoon hahah.  I only got out of bed because I was hungry.  Oh well...the weekend is almost over and soon back to work.

Ok, not many people may remember NKOTB except maybe people of my age hahahha...Anyways, they were a famous boyband back in the early 90's.  My sisters and I used beg my parents to buy us Teen magazines so we could get posters of the band.  Our walls were literally covered by posters of boybands, mostly NKOTB.  My favorite is Jonathan Knight...he's still hot for a man in his late 30's.  Anways...I played hookie from work to go see the concert.  Believe me I felt bad calling in sick.  I hardly got any sleep that night.

The concert was out of town in San Jose which is about an hour and a half drive.  There were four of us, me, my sister and our two friends.  We met at my house because I agreed to drive.  My friends didn't get to our house til after 1 pm so we left Stockton at almost 2 pm because we had to go to the bank and also get some snacks at starbucks.  The concert started at 8 pm and we were a few hours early so my friends and I went to Hotpot city to have a very late lunch and really early dinner.  I really like hotpot...it's really fun.  Hotpot is like a buffet except the food is raw because you get to cook it yourself.  It's a lot of fun, you can take your time and chat with your friends while your food is cooking.  The area where the restaurant is located is at an asian shopping center.  While we were there my friends and I received the "Asian treatment"...meaning we got the cold shoulders and bad service at the stores hahaha.

Anyways, we got to the HP Pavillion, where the concert was being held, about an two hours before the concert began.  We waited in line for about an hour and they let us into the stadium at 7pm.  The weather was really cold outside but it was fun watching the people because some of them were real fanatics.  Lots of women regressing to their teenage years.  They dresseed like they were back in the 90's with the ponytail to the side, giant buttons and lots of NKOTB shirts.  This is a boyband after all so the majority of the audience were made up of women and some poor men who were dragged to the concert by their girlfriends.  But there were a few men who looked like they were fans and were enjoying themselves.

I decided that it's time to start working out again...I promised myself I would start this month.  So I started yesterday, I went jogging.  I'm out of shape of course, so now I'm in a lot of pain.  Although I am in pain I'm not complaining because at least I'm finally making an effort to work out again.  I'll see how long this lasts hahaha...

Yeah...I love holidays!  Ahh....too bad I've already had my mini vacation.  My friends and I went to Vegas two weeks ago and it was a lot of fun!  We didn't really gamble we mostly just hung out at the hotel, went swimming and went to a club and danced all night.  We even stopped at Venice beach on our way back home.

Last week was very busy.  My coworker is on a medical leave for 8 weeks.  So, lots of work for me now, which is the total opposite of how it's like when my coworker is there.  Usually I've got lots of time to sit around and do nothing, take my time getting my work done.  These last few days I've been coming to work 15 minutes early so I could get all my work done for the day.  It's gonna be hard since my supervisor relies on my to do all the day to day work.  Yesterday for instance.  It was my turn to work the 9-6 shift, we take turns working late on fridays.  Anyways...I get to work at 9 and notice my boss has not even opened the cabinets that holds all of our files and work.  I don't know if she doesn't know where to get the keys to the cabinets.  We have to lock up our work each day because we have private information on all of our customers.  But yeah when I got there, she couldn't get her work done because her files were all locked up!  Seriously she's the supervisor, you'd think she'd know how to start the day without me instead of waiting.  So she was an hour behind on her work!

Anyways...back to happy thoughts haha...three day weekend.  I want to go and do something, but all my friends are working and I've nowhere to go.  Hmmm...It's going to be a quiet weekend.

I can't believe it's gonna be September already.  The year flew by.  Does time go by faster as you get older?  It seem to be the case for me.  Ok break time is over.  I'm gonna get back to my Asian drama watching mode hahaha.  This is a little early, but happy September everyone!!!

My friend is trying to set my sister up with her sister's friends.  So last friday my sister and I and our friend went bowling with my friend's sister and her friends.  When they get together they drink and I mean a lot...while bowling they made us take shots of Hennesy, not once but three times!  I'm already a really bad bowler so bowling intoxicated was just a waste of money.  I guess it's ok because the men were paying.  After bowling we had an after party at someone's house.  Where they drank some more...at that point i'd stop drinking because I was way over my limit.  So we hung out, got a tour of the house which was cool because one of the rooms had wall with that had a floor to ceiling mirror with hardwood floors...so a bunch of us girls were just dancing in front of the mirror.  A couple of drunk girls dancing is pretty funny, but we had a lot of fun and it sobered me up.

Saturday was fun too because my friends and I want to SunSplash, a waterpark.  We had fun just swimming around.  My friends got me up one of those really tall slides.  I hate height so I was not so willing.  The best part was hanging out at the kiddie pools, the slides there were a lot smaller and a lot more fun.  Good weekend, but next weekend I'm staying home and doing absolutely nothing!
