Alarmed by these messages on my CBox:

I felt the need to let y'all know what the name Lioncourt stands for.

Y'all know who Anne Rice is? If not, she is a famous novelist responsible for The Vampire Chronicles, The Mayfair Witches and the erotic version of Sleeping Beauty (which she wrote under the pen name A.N. Roquelaure).

Anyway I really loved The Vampire Chronicles, especially The Vampire Lestat and The Interview With The Vampire, which has a movie version of the same title starring a blonde Tom Cruise and a less rugged Brad Pitt.

Tom Cruise played the character of the Vampire Lestat, who is such a big icon for me during my teenage years (for those who have met me, that explains my demented persona) and eversince I got into the internet, I've always used a username that has the name Lestat in it. In fact, my Jevoudrais blog's username is 777Lestat, and my current username for this blog is lestat777 (I love the number 7).

Well, you are all aware of the 2001 movie Queen of the Damned? Eversince that film was released, everybody (well not everybody, but you know what I mean) began using the same username. And I hate doing with what everyone else is doing so if I cannot use the vampire's name, well, I'll go for his LAST NAME: Lioncourt.

Lestat de Lioncourt.

This way I can still identify with Lestat without feeling like a loser.

There, my username isn't about a lion, (dont get me wrong, i love cats, in fact I have 2 of them as pets) it's about an icon from my teenage years.

Woah I missed Mobbed and all of y'all! Well, I've been really busy with my Practicum Hunting Spree. Anyway, I managed to sell myself to my "dream company", a well known advertising agency and other companies as well (I won't reveal the name of the ad agency just yet, at least not until I bag the Internship, nya ha ha!).

 Aaaargghhh! Pray for me y'all! I hope I get chosen!

No need to say more. Britney filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, from his infamous husband K-Fed!

What do I think? Well, I think this is just one of the major changes in Brit's life in preparation for her comeback. Despite the ccouple's incessant denials, their marriage still has been hounded with speculations of marital squabbles and domestic unrest since day 1 and this news just confirms everything.

Aaargghhh!

If you liked the Indiana Jones films and has been salivating for a 4th installment, blame George Lucas if ever all your hopes of seeing Harrison Ford as Indie Jones be quashed because the guy, (George, not Harrison) just killed our chance of ever seeing him (Harrison, not George) onscreen ever again.

As per screenwriter John Darabont:

    "That was terrifically frustrating. I worked for over a year on that; I worked very close with Steven Spielberg. He was ecstatic with the result and was ready to shoot it two years ago. He was very, very happy with the script and said it was the best draft of anything since Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's really high praise and gave me a real sense of accomplishment, especially when you love the material you're working on as much as I love the Indiana Jones films. Lucas read it and said, 'Yeah, I don't think so, I don't like it.' And then he resets it to zero when Spielberg is ready to shoot it that coming year, [which] is a real kick to the nuts. You can only waste so much time and so many years of your life on experiences like that, you can only get so emotionally invested and have the rug pulled out from under you before you say enough of that."

If Steven Spielberg is ecstatic about the script then it must be really good. Either Steven Spielberg has lost his touch or George Lucas (the man who brought us the crappy Star Wars prequels) is just a plain total idiot.

Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo (Emilio Aguinaldo Library), De La Salle University-Dasmarinas. I have some fond memories with this library, when I first came to the university as a transfer student, I didn't have many friends and I was practically a sociopath so I would stay here for hours. 

PS: to Judz/splicedink: Don't you miss this? 

 Last Oct. 29, 2006 me and my friends went to Puerto Galera, a province located in Oriental Mindoro. It is a coastal town well known for its bevy of world class beaches and dive sites. Interesting fact: White Beach in Puerto Galera is practically unaffected by tropical storms because it is surrounded by mountains that act as a fortress for the beach itself, you'll notice this in some of the pics.
