Hello friends, another post here. It has been a very hot and wonderful summer as always for the vacation season. Some spent it elsewhere like the beach, out of town resorts, a trip abroad or even visited relatives in the provinces. Me you ask? Well, I spent my summer with a few overnight gigs with friends and mostly at home. I found my summer job being the household and Alfred, my nephew. Yes, I went from sweeping & mopping the floor, to dog-feeding, to dishwashing and to babysitting. What could I say? It’s what we call hard-hitting fun. But sad to say, the months-long break is ending and another school year is coming up and preparations are non-stop. I’m sure everybody wants more of that ecstatic vacay but is excited for the start of school. I mean, we do miss our school buddies when we’re on vacation right? Haha. I did. Back to the summer vacation, how did you spend yours? Apart from being the household guy, I also kept myself busy with the internet. I got hooked to Twitter. For those who are yet introduced to Twitter - it is for the exchange of short status messages seen by other Tweeples. (twitter people. :D) instead of friends, you’ve got the people you follow and your followers. You see the updates of the people you follow likewise; people who follow you see your updates. It cool now huh? Haha. I just enrolled last week (thanks to Matt for being with me) have a dull Tuesday-Thursday schedule. But the hell with it, at least I am off for the rest of the day. :D seems we are off for another fun-filled and exciting school year. Break a leg!

Good day mates, it’s been another semester and my time has been quite short for updates. Well, here I am, writing a new blog.It is yet another great summer which is up and the joy can’t be hidden. My face is like swelling with a smile for weeks now, after the results of my final exams and grades. It just came to me that I just don’t go to school to get allowance, see my friends, and mingle and everything, but I do study. Perhaps I did. My grades gone great but were unexpected. But still, thank God. Seems I am off to a good start, to another fantastique summer vaca. Ok, so North Korea launches a missile, Pacquiao’s match with Hatton is fast approaching, Obama had his first 100 days, it’s lent and I am turning 18. And they say its recession. But who the hell cares? Although we are much affected, as it seems, with the global financial crisis, isn’t that the rough times are those times that we should be positive? Damn its recession, but we need to take a break from thinking ‘bout problems, and it is my freaking 18th BIRTHDAY, well that occasion doesn’t count. Ha-ha. I simply just wanted to tell everyone to have fun although money is scarce, wear a smile although jobs are scarce. Be thankful every time and in a way, it’ll minus the stress and lines up on our faces and we can find better solutions to, as we call it, these complicated times. Talk about lent, it is also that very time to think over and repent. It’s all about the ultimate sacrifice. Him. Jesus. Where did you spend the holy week? Me? I stayed at home, gone off to church and watch masses over the telly. I also went to a nearby prayer sanctuary known as the “Field of Faith” to reflect and pray. It’s located up a nearby mountain, yet not that far. Many people were there to pray and to relax with family. Simple but well spent days huh? Its recession. Erase extravagant. Hihee.

just last week, we had our pre-final exams and it was, as usual, nerveracking and as diffucult as it gets closer to finale. and looks like it turned out fine. well, on to my weekend, my bestfriend threw a bday bash with an overnight swimming party, and it was fun-filled, certainly fun-tastic. sounds unbelievable but, it was my first actual overnight party to attend at, to the exception that it is not part of a school gig like a farewell party of maybe xmas party. and i was the neophyte. haha. i so did enjoy the party. the asking for permission was like processing for travel abroad, where i have to undergo various interview with my fam. - my father was the embassy like, for visa application and approval
- dearest mum, airport security join forces with baggage counter and wardrobe dept
- kuya, the Thomas Cook, ticketing location of party venue, the easiest
- big sis, financial release and my very own foreign consul. i tell, this is the hardest part
and i end up going to the party. it kicked off with karaoke singing, food eating and card games. swimming afterwards. i got drunk. i bit. i guess. ahaha. well it wasn’t like out of control or something. i just laughed harder and louder. pretty intense effect. 2 shot and my world spun around. haha. weak u say? em for lights. anyways, we called it a night and we didn’t had the chance to sleep so, when i came home, all i want to see is the bed and dose off. zzz. it was a rewarding weekend, after all the exams and reviews for the pre-fi. so until then, happy Edsa Revolution Anniv and congrats to newly Oscar winners. Au revoir. Dieu benir. ps. at last, Kate Winslet owned it. very much.

our midterms are finally over and Obama stepped it up as the 44th US President was and still the most celebrated person since he triumphed over the election. last weeks headlines. well, on to a new week. formostly, Gong Xi Fa Cai! its chinese new year. it is year of the earth ox. in chinese astrology, the ox symbolizes prosperity through fortitude and hardwork. the ox is also known to be persevere and is a born leader. lets hope these traits would be reflected during times like this, when the world suffers economic crises.
to award seasons. kudos to kate winslet grabbing 2 globes for actress both in lead and supporting roles for the reader and revolutionary road. a big salute to the late heath, who won best supporting actor for his role as joker in the dark knight. the globes was cute but not unlike the upcoming oscars, bigger! sad to see that revolutionary road didn't get any attention from the academy, though it was a great movie. 15th nomination for meryl streep, record queen for most nominations. anne hathaway's first and angelina's 2nd. thought of kate as her fifth and maybe, just maybe her first oscar for the reader. brad has one for benjamin button which i should say is a best picture. love the story. great plot. sean penn also has one nod for milk and globe winner mickey rourke for the wrestler. one the, i should say cute nods is for a dude playing a dude disguise as another dude, robert downey getting his oscar nod for trophic thunder. wow. great actors. great show. im sure id watch that. haha. ciao for now.

popular GOALS i'd consider to be mine: - SAVE MONEY - to tell you, if there is something i never did this 2008, it was to save money. im so poor when it comes to managing my finances, and i hope i could AND i know i would (yeah right). spend less, keep more.
- GET FIT-ter - i know im partially fit, but just a little more push and im there.
- DRINK LESS ALCOHOL - limit it to occasions not every depressions. not even when i feel i like to have some. self control, there you go.
- TAKE A TRIP - do i have to? need to reconsider 'coz of #1. well maybe if its like walking distance or something. there, im thrift and stingy. lol.
- TEMPER CONTROL - the Bible says, "dont let the sun go down on your anger". okay, my anger mngt. resolution - anger applicable only for like less than a minute. damn. no way! just say no to hot arguements and grumpy people. in that way less hot-headed showdowns, happy world.
- EAT HEALTHY - i have no probs with veggies, but those luscious, tender and fatty foods just take my taste buds by storm. LESSEN. hmm. i have to work this out.
- EDUCATION - this one's for real. ever since.
- GAIN WEIGHT - just to add volume to my thin body.
- LOVE MORE - share more affection and care to all the people so that you can start workin' on the impossible "world peace" :)
- GOD IS EVERYTHING - always pray to God and try not to wander off the right path shall we?
...to God be the glory. hello 2009.

every kid has gone crazy over the past weeks in preparation for the season. well for them its was all about the gift giving, merry making and joy of having to receive a loadful of blessings. not only the kids got strucked by the craziness but also the adults, most particularly the godparents who planned their escape to nowhere. bahh! just kidding. you tell me. hehe. well its a season for crazy lovin', crazy giving and over the top craziness for togetherness. Christmas.
just this morning as our annual family ritual, we were bound for Antipolo City where we attend the Christmas mass. well its not to avoid "the kids" but it is a more important thing to like remember the real reason for the celebration, the birth of Jesus.
so ok, at some part it was a form to avoid them but just for the early mor'n stress and so. but for real. c'mon. but then, the day was just starting, as planned we were to take off by 7:00 am. to avoid the traffic, the heat and to be honest, them "kids". haha. but for worldly causing economic problems and financial crises, the world manage to catch us and they were early. yah, early birds. haha.
but not out of selfishness or something, its just too unusual to see a mob of kids so early at the front yard. well, santa duty. they nailed our wallets and pockets off. but it brought so much joy to see that even with a small amount you can give, the smiles were priceless. admit it. when money is being talked about everyone listens. but today, its not about the value, its about the spirit of tradition and giving. Jesus was the greatest gift. and that my friends is undeniably true. yah, there was the stress lots of it in the pocket and physic, the preparation for food, gifts and other. but at the end of the day, its all about Him. reliving the unending generosity of God.
so what i am trying to point is, plan HIDING earlier than ever. haha. lol. just kidding.
as we got to Antipolo and went our way back, i saw the streets which were flooded by people whom are with their families and friends going out to spend sometime together. well it was a sight. it was a joy. i saw some who lets say are luxurious and extravagant. but the something caught my eye.

its been a while of not blogging and updating accounts, the word is always absolute, busy. the 1st sem is over and on with the 2nd. not to mention the yuletide season which is a few weeks away. time goes by really fast. im blogging for almost a year. its just last year that am formally into this gig. well its fun to share to the public your experiences, views, hobbies, problems and feelings. it makes me feel lighter and more confident.
the favorite time of the year is back. christmas. another time to give gifts, to have family gatherings, to party and to celebrate the birth of Christ. the most colorful time of the year. the cherry on top of a very busy 2008. it also means that 2009 is just waiting on the corner. another year to celebrate. by then, id be 18, legal and mature.(i guess?!?) ive learned to see bigger options, like a car & license, a new phone, a new laptop, new clothes, etc. but not until next year. trying to enjoy the last months of being a minor.
its was really a blast. 2008 is another year to be remembered. after high school, there came college. i find myself having more time with my family and we've been closer than ever. i couldn't ask for more. (! maybe those things i listed earlier would do. lol.) and this time around my nephew, alfred, is really no baby anymore, aside from turning 2 by next year march, he is a big brother. sweet! my brother & sister-in-law is blessed with a new child already 3 months in waiting to see the world. well the family couldn't even wait longer because of excitement. i too included, is so thrilled and overjoyed. the family is bigger and better. the more the merrier. damn right. haha.
but let us not forget as much as we do, the TRUE reason for the season, the birth of Jesus Christ. our savior and refuge.
wishing ya'll a very merry and colorful Christmas! Maligayang Pasko! :)

hey there Beyonce fans, looks who's comin' back. the 10-time Grammy winning and Golden Globe nominated diva will release her third album this comin' November. two tracks from her album "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" will be released and hit radio on October 7 according to her record label. Beyonce already shot the video for "If I Were A Boy" in NYC. and did i mention she is dressed as a cop for the video? and still looks bootylicious? after all she is Forbes richest femme star having earned $80 million in 12 months! dang that's a lot of money. not even Celine Dion and Madonna could beat that. Beyonce will perform in the upcoming MTV Europe awards that will be held in Liverpool, UK. she is nominated for Ultimate Urban award with Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Chris Brown and Lil' Wayne (be sure to vote). B is also starring "Cadillac Records" a film about singing legend Etta James which doesn't have a release date yet. well, this year wouldn't end without a dose of Beyonce. cheers!

Wow, after a loadful of Emmy Awards, Tina Fey is back to SNL. Tonight will be the showing of her funny portrayal of Gov. Sarah Palin in the Phils, I watched clips on YouTube on what's in store for the spoof. And to tell you it was a blast. (what more to see the whole of it :D) Alongside Amy Poehler, this two brought so much laughter in spoofing Palin and Clinton. The episode was hosted by golden boy Michael Phelps, yet all eyes were on the retuning Tina. Nice work! Highest rating after Sept. 11 bombing. We'll all be laughing more from Tina. 30 Rock Rocks! more power. hehe. Love U Tina!

Well hello there. Another entry. After one term at Malayan Colleges, sure it was a surprise I did pass all of my subjects, especially hard-hitting Math. Even if that was the case, I decided not to enroll for the next term. Thought of transferring to another school for the second semester. I’d enroll in a much nearer institution, like traveling half-way across Laguna just to get to school. No way for too long. And besides dorm isn’t really my thing. Believe me. And besides I think that Engineering is really not my call. Even if I have satisfactorily achieved passing grades the past term, I felt it. I felt its not it. Let me say to give Engineering a try is a “do and die” for me. If I continue and “DO” it, eventually I’ll DIE. haha. So much for the drama. Well, I do look at the bright side. A lot of things to be considered. I gained new friends back at MCL, and we promised we’d keep in touch. Another is that I have more than a month vacation ‘till the next sem. How cool. Out of school. haha. Just made myself busy around a couple of things. Say, babysitting my nephew and am so busy watching movies. I so love ’em. Who doesn’t? Targeting newly released ones, some of the movies I got to check were “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” (how often do you see Asian superstars like Michelle Yeoh & Jet Li in one film?), “Made of Honor” (oh, I tell you, this one’s cute), “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” (another treat from Adam Sandler), and “The Love Guru” (Mike Myers new original goofy character after Austin Powers). My reviews were ecstatic. See how busy I’ve been. A taste of an early Christmas vacation. Oh wait, which brings me to reminding myself that it’s fast approaching. Dang, like Christmas was just here. So fast. New planning and preparations for another great holiday. An advance Happy Christmas to all! Joyeux Noel! xoxo.
