I just thought of getting back on my voice lessons. My voice progress for the past year has been quite impressive, but I think I should develop it more.

I'm signing up for voice lessons tomorrow. Can't wait. 2 hours per session, 18 sessions in all for the lesson.

This is my update for today. :)

oh, and my parents are thinking of bringing me to Kuala Lumpur for my 18th birthday on May.

They're really bugging me to go on that trip.

So I'm just gonna go along with the flow.

Summer's been quite good. I've been busy with painting, writing, washing the dishes, folding the laundry, readiing, researching and other activities, listening to music... speaking of music...

I was surfing through imeem.com for previews of Mariah Carey's new  songs in her latest album E=MC2

It's a refreshing, more personal album, simply upbeat, with baring, sentimental tones. I'm predicting a couple of chart-toppers here, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

"I Stay in Love"

"Bye Bye"

"Side Effects"

"For the Record"

"Last Kiss"

Hope I could grab the album as soon as it comes out in the local music stores here!!

Actually, had an excellent brunch at home: muesli. A lotta grains, cereal, fruits... god, it's just heavenly and healthful. Love it, love it, love it!! I ate so much that I didn't have to eat lunch.

Thank you, whoever introduced muesli.

mm-mmm!!

After watching this anime', I went crazy looking for the good classical music in the internet. So far, my favorites are:

Canon in D Major- Bach

Jupiter- G. Holst

Salut D'amour

And I've recently fallen in love with Hans Zimmer's music scores in "The Holiday." (yeah, the one with Cameron Diaz). And then I remembered we had a violin in the house.

I'm gonna see if I can have it tuned properly in one of the local music stores.

Oh my gosh. I nearly forgot that I took up violin lessons when I was much younger. I learned the basics, but now I gotta do a refresher course coz I've almost forgotten everything.

Yay!! Gotta learn the violin again!

God, I soooo love the book when I read it. Before it became a movie, I thought that Keira Knightley would be perfect for the leading lady. When the movie came out, I was all, "HOLY COW!!" when I heard that she had The Role.

I was flipping out when I watched it on HBO. I was all gushy, and mushy...of course, their were parts that weren't in the book that they were bloody worth watching!!! especially the ending:

Mr. Darcy: How are you this evening, my dear?
Elizabeth Bennet: Very well... although I wish you would not call me "my dear."
Mr. Darcy: [chuckles] Why?
Elizabeth Bennet: Because it's what my father always calls my mother when he's cross about something.
Mr. Darcy: What endearments am I allowed?
Elizabeth Bennet: Well let me think...”Lizzie" for every day, "My Pearl" for Sundays, and...”Goddess Divine"... but only on *very* special occasions.
Mr. Darcy: And... what should I call you when I am cross? Mrs. Darcy...?
Elizabeth Bennet: No! No. You may only call me "Mrs. Darcy"... when you are completely, and perfectly, and incandescently happy.
Mr. Darcy: [he snickers] Then how are you this evening... Mrs. Darcy?
[kisses her on the forehead]
Mr. Darcy: Mrs. Darcy...
[kisses her on the right cheek]
Mr. Darcy: Mrs. Darcy...
[kisses her on the nose]
Mr. Darcy: Mrs. Darcy...
[kisses her on the left cheek]
Mr. Darcy: Mrs. Darcy...
[finally kisses her on the mouth]

If life was like Facebook, I'm most likely the person who's throwing sheep at people.

 It's such a cute notion.

 Haha. Sheep.

Anyway, I've been going over my birthday plans (My birthday's around May) and I am going berserk on what I'm going to do. But one thing's for sure... there will be a Twister Showdown!!

sun, sea and chocolate cookie                                                                                          Some people ask me how would I know if I've achieved happiness. I'm a person who doesn't do or plan too much to achieve such goal. Everyday, I indulge in little pleasures, good moments, great memories, and childlike whims.

And this is a good pic of what I call happiness.

A good summer day, some sand, sprays of the sea, and most of all... a chocolate cookie!!

 Coookie!!!

Hell yeah. I believe that everyday, we have the ability to choose to be happy.

As long as there are still chocolate cookies in this world, I'll be alright!!

 Woot!!

Finals are finally over! Thank God!! I was this close to ripping my lungs out over those exams.

While taking the exams for Business Statistics, I had no flippin' idea what to do with the godforsaken probabilities and problems, that I spent the whole 1 hour wishing the answers would magically appear by itself on the paper. I spent the rest of the 2 hours thinking what I should do for the summer. And i've summed it all out:

 Do my paintings

Record songs at my mom's friend's studio

Write a novel with my typewriter

 Take up hip-hop dancing lessons

 Browse for books on sale

So there's this rule that proper attire for going to church would not consist the things I usually wear:

minsikirt

halter

tube

tank tops

spaghetti strapped outfits

Because it would displease God?? It's not like we want to show off to him. Besides, when he created Adam and Eve, they were very well NAKED.

Because it would tempt men? Oh please. That is so sexist. We ogle at men more than they ogle at us. And they don't have to bare some skin to tempt us.
