Haven't been blogging here for the longest of time!

The POW gig was crazy. One and a half hours of drumming. Jesus. But I enjoyed it despite being exhausted. We did a cover of Madonna's "Hung up." Not much crowd response. We then did "Handphones On The Dancefloor" as the encore. The crowd went wild. I seriously think Etc fares better doing originals than covers.

One of the colleagues' birthday today! Happy 45, yo! :)

Looking forward to Baybeats where Etc is going to rock the chillout stage on July 16 at 6pm. Come catch us if you can. Bring lovers, bring friends, bring your mums and dads, bring everybody down!

Good day people!

My band Etc recorded a demo. It's not that perfect and my drums faltered with me missing some crashes and hi-hats but I truly love my bandmate's guitars! So it's still all good!

Check it out! Free song for you!

I love drumming. I think it frees you from a lot of restrictions and the amount of endorphins it helps to release is way too intense particularly in a live situation. And don't forget the sweat too.

And drum sticks are your most personal devices to help you in the art of drumming. Choose wisely and they will serve you well.

My fave drum sticks are made by Pro-mark. If you want to talk geek, I love the Ringo Starr Signaure sticks.

Lately, I've bought a pair of Elvin Jones Signature Jazz sticks too. Haven't use them yet. Hopefully I get to bash my kit come this weekend. It's been so goddamn long.

I NEED TO BEAT THE HELL OUT OF MY DRUMS.
