HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY ALICIA!!!!!!!!!!! her party was awesome! the kind that would inspire MTV Asia to create its very own Super Sweet! but knowing asian culture...we probably will have a super sweet 21 instead of a super sweet 16. in any case, the hotel was awesome, the pool was awesome, the food was awesome, the DRINKS were free flow and non-stop (MEGA AWESOME) and the music, courtsey of me, was awesome toooo! the people, family anad friends were all decked out and ready to partaaaay the night away.
grace and i decided to do a little performance of our own in tribute of the unique way alicia dances. eva joined in the fun to and boy was she a really really quick learner! not too bad at all babe! in the end we opened the dance floor and everyone poured in armed with their mambo moves! the party was then moved to a more "condusive" environment ala MINISTRY OF SOUND studio 54 and there i fell in love with the song RA RA RASPUTIN! omg it is so funny and chick! love it!
we all had a great time though half arbitrated but nvm lah uh, it was WORTH IT! :)
hope everyone is sober by now and back to work! im downing the water as i speak, gotta neutralize those bad bad alcohol stem cells.
ooooooo scorching fever, belting cold sweat attacks, itchy coughs and floppy flu...not a very good combination :( but it did grant me a two day MC from work! i just slept the ENTIRE day through, only judging the hours from each course of my medication.
got back to work yesterday and immediately popped into a whole pile of stuff waiting for me to complete. one of the HIGHLIGHTS definitely has to be the shoot with colbie calliat! fun stuff, got to see how the production peeps handled celebs and be completely professional and impromptu when elements such as the weather weren't favourable to filming. hehe haren and i were shooting behind the scene shots for the online portal! haren on film and i on camera! we spoke to her make up person and cousin and stuff, look out for what they have to say! once we were done with that we started just chatting and i can't believe they havent had prata yet so i insisted that they HAVE to do that before they fly out of Singapore. hehehe.
other than that, met my friend for lunch today and did some 21ST BIRTHDAY SHOPPING! i love 21st and 16th birthday shopping trips coz it always just has to be getting the bestest things for my friends! :) her party is going to be awesome, i can already picture it. did i mention its a POOLSIDE PARTY.

ahhhhhhhhh the weekend was nothing short of, dull. had a really quiet birthday event at cafe del mar with lychee martinis, pina coladas and the likes...lots of card games too, like heart attack and bluff! and I WON BLUFF!!!! (naturally) i think i can kinda keep a poker face, but that is really subjective.
that night went to this really nice chinese place for dinner and the sweet sour pork there was probably the bestest i've ever had. they even made old school fried rice! yummyy!! after that we went to watch meet the spartans. it was just okay, nothing that hilarious. super bummed out though that they were chasing me out of the cinema!! THERE WAS STILL FUNNY TAKES AFTER THE CREDITS! i so knew it! ugh! didn't get to see that...
so the clubbing bug has kinda died out for now. all i wanna do on weekends is put on my apple fig mask at night and chill out to awesome love/house/transient songs. it keeps you super sprightly! and my biological clock uh, is quite spoilt. le sigh.
MAJOR REVELATION: monday blues has no effect over at the mtv office! i love this job!

My BFF is leaving for Melbourne today for a mini holiday! what a lucky girl she is, with her daddy's frequent flyer points and all that jazz. nottttttttt fair! so the rest of us decided to give her a send off! went for dinner (kinda) and watched Juno. we were all really excited to see it coz you know, the very GENERALIZED notion of winning an Oscar. pfft. it was lame. the dialogue was really good but overall it was just like any other pregnant teen show you'd see on the hallmark channel. very dissapointing. and somehow, by saying that i feel really ignorant coz how can the dudes at the Oscars say it was good? i must be terribly missing out on a very important lesson to take home from that movie. ah well, whatever.
btw, my diet is completely messed up. i had thai food at sunshine plaza, pad thai and tom yam soup no less, and after that i even had space for an enourrrrrrmous sandwhich from that really nice sausage place at plaza singapura. can't remember what its called exactly but it was good shit.
well something very unexpected happened last night. and you know how they say one man's treasure is another man's trash - well that has never been ever properly suited to my life, up until now at least. scaaaaaaaaaaary uh, how in just mere seconds your life can change? we shouldn't be so caught up in it, its too quick for any of us.

Its my first day at the MTV Asia office! Things have been going spectacularly well since. The people are great, the office environment is great but more importantly, the job is swell! Its been my dream to work for MTV since I was a little girl watching MTV Most Wanted (my ultimate favouritest MTV show). Gonna make the most of it out here! :)
Also, I figured why not start a new diet too eh? Fruits and Vegetables is the way to go!! Though, I think i'll just savour life's greatest treasures during the weekends. There's gotta be some fair distribution, no? Will be walking back home form work everyday too! See now THAT is what i call commitment! My inspiration: To get a hot hot hot bod by the time I start my surfing lessons with my ULTRA cute, drop dead gorgeousssss, clay lookalike (think newport harbour). So, no pudges or love handles! Or at least i can only hope. I can never give up food, good, greasy, tasty food for ANY man. ;) sorry.
