Today is my birthday! I'm at Casa Rachardo and we're going to have a party tonite. let's have fun.
Got the internet but slow.....what the hell is this?! Hope the ITMS dep can upgrade the internet connection here. When people out the enjoy their world with broadband, we still struggling here with the snail internet connection; it`ll be a worst case scenario when thunderstorm struck here, the internet is totally broke down. Uh... hate it.
Yesterday was great. I've attended a public lecture that been delivered by Tun Dr. Mahathir, the ex-prime minister of Malaysia and the chancellor of our university. This is my third time meeting him so i'm not so exited like my other friends. Well, it was a good lecture to us about how he lead the country until it became one of the most progressive country in Asia. The best part is when the Q&A session when he heve been asked about the controvertional Johore-Singapore bridge, MV Augusta Proton, OIC and IAP. It was a hot hot situation there. haha.... but those metter is better to be heard from him rather than hearing the rumours from the media....
At last we became the sacond runner-up in the intervillage soccer championship. Forgot to mention earlier that village here in my university means hostel. First we meet village 2 team that consisted of the foundation 1 students. nah, its not a big deal to defeat them with 4-0. Then we played against Vilage 4 and its quite a though battle between us but finally it ended up with a draw. The most interesting match was against village 3 when we played against the 'half-international' team. Woah...i can't tell how hard we have play to make sure they didn't make a goal party over us. Just imagine we were playing with those titanic African giants. afterall, it's just a game and we're so happy that day. I wish we could play more and more because I love football too eventhough I'm a real biggest and hard die fan of Formula 1 Grand Prix. hey...by the way, have you watched the Hungrian Grand Prix yesterday? it's such a 'killer' grand prix for Micheal Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso as they all been eliminated but its a lucky day for BMW Sauber as both Nick and Pedro get their points. But it's a bad day too when Jacques decided to terminate his contract with that team. What a luck....
It's going to be the intervillage soccer championship here tomorrow. I feel a bit nervous coz dis is my first time joinin in such event when I'm studying here in UTP. It must be a though competition among the villagers as they'll fight like dying to win a thousand buck. I just hope that it's not kinda hard but wit the participation of many international students, I don;t thing our village can win easily. Just pretend I"ll be playing in the world cup wit them.
