just sharing the good news.. :D
time can heal all wounds.
i overheard mom and dad's conversation last night, as i was leaving the dining room after i ate my dinner alone. and i caught this quote from dad.
"time can heal all wounds."
just let me elaborate on it a little bit.
what does a doctor do when he slits your body open? won't he sew you up and give you medications to kill the pain after the operation? now, what do you do when you get a cut from somewhere? won't you wash it, apply some ointment or something and cover it with a plaster? you certainly don't want your body open in any possible way. obviously, we do something, at least, to make the healing faster.
but yes, i can never argue, time can heal all wounds, whatever kind they may be.
i hate to admit it but we are predestined. and we definitely cannot do something to make time stop nor go back.
what is the purpose of being a prudent human if one would just let time heal the wound? it was written in destiny that someday in time, wounds would be healed, but because of our prudence, we could definitely do something to make that someday sooner.
as for me. in this place, i still don't know yet if i could do it. but i would never let the worst to happen, that is, let time heal the wound.
but come to think of it, whatever process of healing you use, a scar would still remain.
and nothing could ever make a scar fade away completely.
not some super ointment we see in a tv shopping channel.
not any type of surgery.
not even time.
yeah, and i'll be graduating from highschool! hehe. *sigh*
well, i still need to settle "things". ciao. :P
Don't date because you are desperate.
Don't marry because you are miserable.
Don't have kids because you think your genes are superior.
Don't philander because you think you are irresistible.
Don't associate with people you can't trust.
Don't cheat. Don't lie. Don't pretend.
Don't dictate because you are smarter.
Don't demand because you are stronger.
Don't sleep around because you think you are old enough & know better.
Don't hurt your kids because loving them is harder.
Don't sell yourself, your family, or your ideals. Don't stagnate!
Don't regress.
Don't live in the past. Time can't bring anything or anyone back.
Don't put your life on hold for possibly Mr. Right.
Don't throw your life away on absolutely Mr. Wrong because your biological clock is ticking.
Learn a new skill.
Find a new friend.
Start a new career.
Sometimes, there is no race to be won, only a price to be paid for some of life's more hasty decisions.
To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy.
Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.
To make yourself happy, pursue your passions & be the best of what you can be.
Simplify your life. Take away the clutter.
Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends, nasty habits, and dangerous liaisons.
Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't overdose on duty.
Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family.
Be true to yourself.
Don't commit when you are not ready.
Don't keep others waiting needlessly.
been watching "it started with a kiss".

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
All I really need to know about how to live and what to
do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was
not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but
there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the
things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life--learn some and think some and draw
and paint and sing and dance and play and work every
day some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic,
hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the
Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes
up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are
all like that.
Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little
seed in the Styrofoam cup--they all die. So do we.
And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first
word you learned--the biggest word of all--LOOK.
Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The
Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and
politics and equality and sane living.
Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into
sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life
or your work or your government or your world and it holds
true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would
be if we all--the whole world--had cookies and milk about
three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our
blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy
to always put things back where they found them and to clean up
their own mess.
