Afghan negotiators 'hopeful' in South Korean hostage crisis Posted: 28 July 2007 1648 hrs

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_asiapacific/view/290904/1/.html

The wife of 42-year-old pastor Bae Hyung-kyu has appeared on the news at the wake of her husband, appealing for the release of the remaining hostages and relieving the torment of other victims and their worried loved ones.  In the face of such dire results, her grace and spirit still allowed her to plea for those in plight.

Hopefully, the hostages will return home safe and sound soon!!

She ascended the escalator paving her way towards the gantry.  She looks up at that precise moment.  Amidst the crowd pouring inwards to the station towards the train platform, she spotted him.  His eyes were looking downward, oblivious to his surroundings.  Her heart skipped a beat…  it was him!

In that brief instant, he walked pass her without realizing her presence.  She walked pass him without even sparing a second to think about attempting to catch his attention.  As calmly and composed as she could muster enough courage, she walked on… pass him, disappearing into the leaving the station crowd.

Thoughts were bombarding in her head and she could not shake them off…  Why had she run into him again now, after so long?  Is Fate playing an evil trick on her once again?  Maybe she is just thinking too much about the encounter..  Singapore is such a small place… obviously she would run into him sometime… only whether she noticed him amidst the crowd… and today, she had walked away by his side without him realizing it…  Mother Destiny seems too cruel to like to play such tormenting games…  well, at least not cruel enough to chance upon him with his gf... that would be even more heart-wrenching!

Finally watched Transformers!!  My opinion?  I will watch it again!  Josh Duhamel is so cute!!  Okay besides going ga-ga over Josh, I must give the film due credit!  The effects are superb and the action is heart-pumping and the thrill and suspense are fine-tuned!  Just as you have taken a breather and a lil rest from the adrenaline rush, you don’t have a millisecond to be bored and restless, ‘cause the movie keeps you on your tippy toes without tiring your senses!  PLUS the comedy was humorous!  I found the scene where the good bots were waiting at Sam’s house while he searched for the glasses, SUPER FUNNY!  Try to imagine huge BOTS trying to hide beneath a window if you have not caught it yet…  imagine BIG bots being meek…  keke ;p  Besides that, there were a couple of scenes scattered within the film which would tickle you into hearty laughter!  (“,)  TOPS UP!!

today is NOW yesterday has LEFT tomorrow is WITH us after NOW

I just opened an email that had been sitting in my inbox.  It had a very lovely message with a GOOD MORNING at the top and a beautiful picture of lilac flowers and birds twittering amongst the flowers.  If I had clicked on this email in the morning, it would have been a nice refreshing Good Morning and it would have spurred me on throughout the day…  now I am a tad more reflective and less productive…  which is all GooD.. Tomorrow has yet to come and take on as NOW!  And I have to prepare for that…

Recently, life has been more of a challenge and a dread…  and as usual, friends console you and tell you that life will get better in your charge.  I suppose the challenge is to let go of yesterday and seize NOW!  This good morning email is expressing this message.

Just to share with you part of the message;

Today I will invest
my most valuable resource:my time ,
in the most trascendental work:
my life
;

This message is a constant reminder to cherish Ur Life NOW.  Tomorrow we will receive the change of the investment of NOW.  Changes have to happen NOW for Tomorrow.

Once Upon a Time

There was a love

A pair of hearts

Two intertwined spirits

That was conceived

With an umbilical cord

Severed

The eyes met after

After,

The last cup of tea – 忘情茶

That they shared

Blankly

In that unrecognition

She registers

Another stranger

Amidst the crowd

He is looking at her

A Day in Luv

In a world where time never stands still, everyone just continues walking. You think you know the person sleeping next to you until you are reawaken to the blinding light. Then in that instance, you make a decision. To stay with the one you thought you love or adjust your expectations. Changing the one you love or accepting him is a choice you make. What does it mean to be living together? Truly living is an effort. Tomorrow holds no promises, there is only the now. Life is as beautiful as the way you view it. The worst of it or the best of it is how you perceive it. No one treads through life on “ecstasy” every second.

He said

You can only make the best out of life for today is here and yesterday has slowly whisked away. I can’t change your inkling for your thoughts are within your owness. But are you really going to burden me with your prejudice? Days pass and we drift apart… it is not necessary for me to weigh out your limitations for tomorrow nothing may exist… Goodbye

She said

Bringing up the past is futile.. coz today we are no longer together, only a miracle can once again part the red sea to allow the materialization of our once dreamt-only union… what appeared to be a hope has been drowned beneath the crashing in of the waves that return the red sea to its original state
