after a lot of analysing & missed classes, i've come to this conclusion: i've been sick because i've been homesick. my sickness has always been worse here. and flu season's not helping. sigh.
right. another visit to the quacks then. cos if i don't my teachers are going to have a fit themselves. and god my due dates ain't gonna wait. and i really want to do well this year after that screw up screwed up my life last year.

i was doing my fashion 'reseach' online for ankle boots (cos i want a few pairs! RED, WHITE, BLACK, GREY, patents please!) and i came upon ♡this. i really disagreed with the other posted opinions that i decided i'd post something up too but when i tried i couldn't because of some system error. -..-; so that if indeed the comment got through it won't come up as a double, i posted this up here instead:
i'd like to say something - you people who are criticizing that it does not 'match' - look again. notice the black boots and the black clutch? and you say it doesn't match. the dress is also a red hue very similar in terms of it's chromaticness to the black, and she's made sure that they all come in luxe materials - i guess the only thing she's missing is a black leather jacket. she's tall too so she can carry off that 'cutting' effect. please don't think of it in terms of your own self - be more open minded. i've seen worse-dressed celebs and she is rarely on that list. and NEWSFLASH - you can wear ANYTHING in your 20s - the key is to experiment to find the right way to wear things for you - there are no rules as long as it WORKS. and who cares if it's in or out of style? if something works for you, hey, who says you can't work that look till you get bored of it, not just out of style? i may not be a professional stylist or whatnot but for me, the look works. but yes, a nice black, shiny leather jacket. stock one up Misch, it looks awfully chilly in here. rock the boots baby! ;)

hey, i'd be the first person to tell you that i'm not much of a Mischa fan - i didn't even watch the OC. but i think it was unfair on her - she has this young vibe-y and individual style that i like, and she's tried something new that she can pull off - and all everyone can do is bite her head off for it. can you spell out j e a l o u s y? but yes, i strongly recommend the shiny, supple, BLACK leather jacket - cropped please =)

=) gee.. i'm still so into black and white... 0.0 & RED!! =) aaah.. there was this hot-as combo this girl oscar and me saw while waiting for the bus, her red patents she'd paired with a slouchy and slinky-looking black pair of pants, though i'd have exchanged her billowy white top with a white figure-hugging cap-sleeved graphic logo t-shirt with a black, red and white striped bustier & a red clutch and pushed up the pants and tied them at the knees with DIY-ed ribbons... eeee. i want to be a fashion stylist! or work in a fashion magazine... oh and to make things clear, there was nothing wrong with the top or the way she wore the outfit - it was HOT- but the other combo would just be something I would wear, that's all. =p

for winter (autumn's still a bit wierd these days - maximum temperature for tomorrow is 33 degrees. -.-;), i recommend that you do NOT throw away those black skinnies - they're the closest thing to tights you can wear out against the cold, harsh winds - or get a new pair in every colour! i suggest you check out the new Nobody jeans at ♡Live and they also stock other labels.
according to Gisele Scanlan in her book 'The Goddess Guide' try and get black opaques & crochets if you do want to use tights in winter. and oh, and get the book - i highly reccomend it! it's a very beautiful book (i'm a sucker for great packaging & presentation) with surprisingly good, practical advice as well as interviews of the likes of Christian Louboutin & the duo behind Agent Provocateur as well as the founder of Pout Cosmetics to dig deeper on shoes, lingerie and makeup. though the book tends to suggest products i can't find here, it does offer a beauty&style, not to mention life, knowledge boost. i love it!

today was event-filled as usual, went out with oscar to the city and looked for the korean haidressing place for him to go and cut his hair (picky picky! XD) then we went to Shimizu to get him a decent meal - the poor darling was starving cos he'd been a good boy and studied in the morning before meeting up with me at our classmate's place and even the library to borrow books! XD haha god, i gotta give it to you oscar you make me look like a bum! XD haha
ne ne i want your songsss!!! the butterfly ost and jay chous!!! =D hehehe
oohh all throughout i kacaued mon bebe through text and oscar complained about my dragging him to shop to him XD
then caught the bus to meet Alvin who picked us up to go and see the sharehouse! =D hehe... he's a sweetheart, and if i do get the place i don't think i'd mind him, he's nice =)
then he sent me home and dropped off oscar at the lawson street bus stand =)
i hope i get it, though the state of my moolah sort of, kind of, is worrying me right now XD

eek.. why am i such a crybaby... =X abang just sent me a text about how he's playing Need For Speed with Fahmi... i was smiling and then all of a sudden as i texted him, i just started tearing up... the thought of him getting hurt makes me cold, my whole body chilled... ugh..
and as easily i cried, that was how easily his next text made me smile again..
i love you mon amour, and i hope that i can share your pain, and that when your time comes it shall be mine too... because the thought of being here without you is just too bleak for words...

he makes me say my thanks everyday to God for bringing him into my life, to appreciate all the pain and tears; the price of knowledge and experience - that everything was worthwhile because in the end, here i am with him.
everything he is, is beautiful, he makes me so proud & my heart to swell with joy and love

he makes me say my thanks everyday to God for bringing him into my life, to appreciate all the pain and tears; the price of knowledge and experience - that everything was worthwhile because in the end, here i am with him.
everything he is, is beautiful, he makes me so proud & my heart to swell with joy and love
he is my prize, he is the gift that i was meant to have and i couldn't appreciate it more.
because he is proof that God truly does want the best for me, that He heard my cries when i felt so alone and had no one to turn to
he brought back the faith, he's not afraid to love me and show it, and he kisses me like he means it - soft, tender kisses i treasure the most
and when my world was dark, he became my light, glowing brighter minute by minute as he healed my wounds, and kissed the pain away
the way he smiles! it still takes me by surprise sometimes - my heart stops for a second
so full of abandon, and those eyes!
they drown me in love, and i swim helplessly against the current
delicious, my brown sugar
and when he holds me in his arms, i melt with him
it amazes me how much we are so alike, yet still so different
miles away, and we stil jynx!

the girls all fall at his feet and he doesn't notice and tells me he's not as beautiful as i make him out to be
