We all know that the Philippines was badly hit by the super typhoon "Reming", especially the provinces in Bicol and this Christmas all i can give is just a little help---i couldn't give cash coz i am not employed yet, but i have plenty of unused but still new clothes in my closet. I asked mom for  groceries and helped her put them in bags. Now they are ready to be donated to the foundation of the company where my cousin is working.

I know that my donation wouldn't be enough to feed and clothe all the victims but i know it would really help not just in easing the hunger but most of all in healing the wounds in the hearts of those who lost their houses, their livestock and their relatives which is the most painful of all...at least they will feel that there are people who are more than willing to help them...

There's another gift that i can give which i think much, much better than goods and money. Along with their houses, relatives and livestock, their hope was drifted by the flood and their happiness was blown away by the wind... and we all know that no material things can ever bring back what the victims had lost but i can help in rebuilding the hope in the hearts of the victims by participating in the operations of any organization. i would work with NGO's as a volunteer in an outreach program.  and by this i can at least make the victims' christmas a meaningful and happy one despite the tragedy.

I am branded as "kikay"---  a term in the Philppines that is used to describe flirtatious girls and those gals who love fashion and stuff that would make them look good. I am not flirtatious, i am just looks conscious and i just love going with the fashion flow and therefore, i can't leave home without my "kikay kit". it's a small pouch with mirror, face powder, cologne, lipstick, blush on, eyeliner, hairclips and so on inside of it. I want myself to be presentable when i face people. Forgetting my "kikay kit" at home makes me feel that i am ugly. ;P it may sound weird but I really don't mind if i don't have my mobile phone with me as long as my "kikay kit" is in my bag... it's enough to make my day.

Just got home from school. I had a totally good but wearisome day. Anyways, i learned a small info form my professor... he said that cellphones nowadays can cause pneumonia and pimples... He did not give the details of it...(sayang)... probably it's the chemical that cellphones emit. Well, as we all know, any kind of radiation is hazardous to health. Gonna make a research on it...

that's it for now people. see you again next time.

by the way, to my cousin josh, a.k.a. brattyme... congrats for that wonderful post in the topic of the week. naxxxxxxx!!!!!

I have learned just now that there is the so called TEXT 682 or the anti-phone theft service of the National Telecommunications Commission. Well, phone snatching is very rampant here in manila and if every Filipino knows this, it would help us a lot.

To be detailed, TEXT 682 or TEXT NTC is another way of reporting stolen and lost mobile phones.  This service aims to prevent and eventually eliminate the problem of cell phone theft in the Philippines. In just a text, we can prevent anyone from using stolen or lost cell phone by blocking the IMEI of the mobile phone. If the phone will be returned to the rightful owner then he/she can unlock it. Here's how to do it.

For smart, talk 'n text and touch mobile subscribers:

REGISTER

First step is to register to TEXT 682. Registration is valid for one year. To find out the IMEI of your mobile phone, simply type *#06# or look for it on the printed compliance plate under the battery.

To register, simply type REG_<CELL PHONE? NUMBER>_<IMEI>_<PINCODE> and send to 682

BLOCKING THE PHONE

You must block your phone as soon as you learn it is lost or stolen. You may use any GSM phone to BLOCK a cellular phone. To block phone, simply type BLOCK_<CELL PHONE NUMBER>_<PIN CODE> and send to 682.

There are lots of stuff that i wanna do in my life. I want to have a series of shopping sessions, i wanna update this blog often, i want to finish my law course, watch the PCD concert, visit my relatives in the province and a whole lot of others. too bad because my time is limited. I have to spend almost half of my life with books, manuals and all that. But i find my present life enjoying. however it gets frustrating when i wanna do a lot of things at the same time but the thing is, it isn't possible. Things have its own place and time so no need to hurry, no need to worry. All i gotta do is to enjoy what i have right now and be thankful coz i still have life.
