I'm just posting for the sake of posting, and for also keeping my writing skills sharp this summer. I don't really expect anyone to actually read my posts, or its entiriety. But if you're really bored, then by all means be my guest.
It was Friday night, and I was chatting with Martha very well into the wee hours of the morn. I was just about to sleep, here in the computer room, when I asked her if we would still be meeting up later that afternoon in Gateway. I don't know why we didn't finalize the special arrangements, but it took a while, including several misunderstandings and moments of silence, to actually finalize everything. I told her that I'd be meeting her at 11:30am by McDo, then I finally logged off.
When I woke up later on that day, I found out that I only had an hour to go before meeting her at the appointed time. I then rushed to prep up, when I received a txt to meet up at 12pm instead. I was relieved, then continued commuting, yes commuting since my corrupt dad still wouldn't let me use the car, to Katipunan. I arrived almost about 12, and I saw Martha. She said that she was waiting up for some other people, which I actually didn't expect. It turns out, they arrived at 2pm, and there was actually some confusion with the 12pm sched. How annoying is that.
And yet again, I find myself in a situation wherein I'm the only guy surrounded by a bunch of girls. And let me tell you, it's one of the most embarrassing and awkward situations you'd actually ever find yourself in; well, for me at least. Martha, Maffy, and I met up with Bea and this other girl in Gateway, and like most people, planned to watch a movie without a specific movie in mind. We ended up watching "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo", my very first Filipino movie in a movie house! Wow, I didn't know how, er, funny these movies actually are. Honestly, those rare times I actually watch a movie, they always tend to be foreign films. And usually, I find the jokes actually too American for me to comprehend or to appreciate. But watching this movie actually helped open my mind to actually appreciate the beauty of our Filipino humor and culture. I need to watch more Filipino films. When I told my mom that I actually watched a Filipino film, she was actually surprised and asked if we were actually that desparate. Well, sort of since it was the only one screening at that time, so we had no other choice really.

Hey, it's my first post! I must be so bored this summer that I actually made a new blog site. o_O. Haha. Hmm, how has my summer been... I guess it's been good. I've been trying to learn how to do photoshop with that Photoshop for Dummies e-book I downloaded. That's pretty much it. I need to do more stuff. I'm sad...
