Emma Watson has reportedly quit the "Harry Potter" movie series.
The 16-year-old actress has grown "distant" from the cast and wants to focus on other movie projects, according to her co-star Rupert Grint.
"Daniel [Radcliffe] and I are distant from her now. We don't text or talk to her when we are not filming," he said.
"Emma doesn't want to do it anymore. She's tired of being known as 'That girl from Harry Potter'."

Two days after it was announced that ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ would be published on 21st July 2007, the seventh and final installment in the Harry Potter series broke the 100,000 pre-orders barrier on Amazon.co.uk.
The book, which is available on Amazon.co.uk at GBP 8.99, reached 100,000 pre-orders on Saturday 3rd February and has now surpassed all previous records for speed of pre-order sales - eclipsing the success of the sixth Harry Potter outing, ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’.

The 17-year-old actor had his first kiss with Cho Chang, played by 18-year-old Katie Leung, in the latest film Order of the Phoenix.
Daniel said: "We probably got it on the 30th take. My god it was fun. Me and Katie - we were awkward and nervous at first but once we got it, it was fine."
And the wizard's leading lady had a good time as well.
Katie said: "Daniel is a good kisser. I really enjoyed it. He's energetic and makes you feel relaxed.
"He talks all the time and tells you not to be nervous. It's great working with him."
The teenagers attracted a big audience while they smooched.
Producer David Yates said: "The crew gathered round the monitor the day we shot the kiss.
"We did many, many takes and it's very tender and loving, as the first kiss should be."
The film, the fifth in the Harry Potter series, will be released next July.

Radcliffe will play 17-year-old Jack Kipling, son of the author of The Jungle Book and the Just So Stories.
The film tells the true story of how Rudyard Kipling used his political connections to enlist Jack in the Irish Guards, even though his son had been turned down for health reasons by the military many times before.
When Jack subsequently went missing in action, his mother and father began a tragic search for his body. Although their attempts spanned years, his body never was recovered.
Radcliffe said he was very moved by the plight of the hundreds of thousands of young men who lost their lives in the trenches across Europe, and he felt the story also would have contemporary resonance.
"I've always been fascinated by the subject (of WWI) and I think it's as relevant today as it ever was, with young men still sacrificing their lives in the name of war," he said.
Based on the play by writer David Haig – who will play Rudyard Kipling – Jack will be filmed next year.
Radcliffe will also be seen next year doing a nude turn in a West End revival of Peter Shaffer's disturbing psychodrama Equus, and weaving his magic in the fifth Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.

well, guess what? i'm eating like a pig and getting fat like one too.. but rather a cute pig then. :) the reason is i'm addicted to mcdonald's fries and coke! it's unhealthy but can't help it. i watched the notebook. the story's simple yet, there's a sweet romance that leaves something. we, me and chit, went to see a movie too. it was fun. we went to riverside and watch tourists got on the boat to see this narrow-nothing-to-look-at-actually river. we went there for chit's assignment. and she was wandering about clarke quay and writing notes on her notebook. i don't really understand her project. To follow ur senses?? that's crazy to ask to do. coz we're always following our senses. and we had a coffee, bought something to eat and came back home. I'm glad my friends are coming here to study as well. but i have to be prepared too. coz they're gonna be buzzing and buzzing all the time. i have a bunch of laundry to do and i need to sleep coz i was sleepy on the mrt. but whenever i'm all free to sleep, my eyes can't just go to sleep. stupid! well, my school's starting tonight. there's student orientation and drawing lessons! i'm looking forward to drawing lessons. it's gonna be fun! hope we have a nude model!! ha ha..
Daniel Radcliff signed the 5 million contract to star in the next Harry Potter Movie, The Order of Phoenix at the age of 17. The movie will be opened on theaters on 13th July 2007. He's been increasingly paid compared to his first contract which was only 90000.
