Yes, I stopped my liberals arts education in Maastricht and I am back in Alemania for some gold diggin and workin.  I applied for Law School in England and since their semester starts in September, I would have to wait. I was already accepted in Liverpool but I want to get into Warwick...PRAY FOR ME!!!

The Friday:

Yeah, you got it. I turned twenty-two as in 22 last September 24th and spent my day studying for my Biology 101 mid-terms. Nobody bothered to call cos greeting me on Friendster was cooler than giving me a ring. Imagine the shock I got when on Monday I opened my account and found myself approving ten-thousand greet-testimonials. At the end, I was happy. But bothered as well. I am 22 that means the following: eleven years ago I was eleven and had a crush on a guy named George, four years ago I was 18 and walked across the borderline of non-drinker to drinker of alco-pops, tequila and wine(pretty late huh?), that means in eight years I will be thirty and a year more I am off the calendar. What is worse? growing old or knowing that you have to go through every age (number) in order for you to know the essential things in life? Was that even a fair question? Anyway, so I couldnt party on that special day of mine. So, I invited every nice person to a party five days after and my freaky and neurotic friends from Germany as well. On that day, I had monstrous fun despite the ten other people not arriving, which caused the beer cans to stand all alone and still filled in the fridge cos for some reason my visitors (those who bothered to come) only drank cups of Martini, Bacardi breezer and Sangria. At the end, we were all wasted but did you really think that stopped us from going to the next level? Hell, no! We left the flat at 1 am and went dancing! We were all a bit of tipsy already. Dancing became a way to catabolise the alcohol molecules in our bodies and unfortunately make us see how many weirdos there were around us. Maastricht is a cool little place in the Netherlands but life and hipness only exist here in the week. Both are provided by the students of the different colleges. So, on Fridays or Saturdays one is left with a bunch of either gel-loaded Dutch yuppies or white-haired 50-somethings. Being a twenty-something in such a bunch made me feel kinda like E.T. But we didnt care, honestly. We danced. Jenny and I, the observers/ part-time wallflowers, got exhausted and sat down beside the rather dodgy bar and ordered a shot called "Botox injection". Good Lord! A big mistake. It was a something with Tabasco sauce. Jenny didnt look well after we drank it and I almost broke my promise of not throwing up. Yuck! At four, we decided to hit the road and our beds. Little did we know that our party alter-egos would summon our souls to another night-out the day after.

It's true! After nine weeks of summer vacation I have returned to my much loved but also hated life of being a student. I have Introduction to Biology, Modelling Nature and French for Beginners. These things are a welcome alternative to my summer life as a quality control girl in a metal parts factory for 4 long weeks and as a lazy bitch for the other 5 weeks. I feel good, though. I see familiar faces and smile at the freshmen who seem to be a bit of clueless here and there...like we used to be last year around this time. I don't know what awaits me aside from the usual exams, readings and all of that. I am going to have fun nevertheless. So, whaddup wid yah?

P.S. Kenya was cancelled  :-(

Okies! So the universe is in favour of my royal beauty (haha) and now I have a job, at last. I have been on it for three weeks already. It´s one of those crappy student jobs with a lot of dough. Anyway, I am flying away to Kenya....yaaayyy....Hello Nairobi! Anybody been there already? How is it?

Love YAH!

So....we are third. I say: So, what!??!?! Our players are hot, young and full of life. I think we have a chance in Vienna in two years and in South Africa in four years. Klinsi is leaving us. I cannot really blame him. He was trashed by everyone after the 1:4 against Italy. I swear, I never doubted his capability and even after that game I still trusted the guy. For me, he´s the sexiest trainer alive and will ever be. Jogi Loew will replace him and he is not bad either. He will have my support as well. Anyway, so there´s this friendly match against Sweden in August and I do not think we will have difficulties with that. We beat them before...and that with Ibrahimovic in their team!!! Freddie Ljungberg will be there and even though I love him I will still cheer for my German team.

Other stuff: I am bored to death in Germany. No money, no job and no boys...hahaha. Naah, I am just having what we call in Germany: "Fernweh". It´s the opposite of home-sickness. You long to go out and discover places and be very much away from home. So, what are you up to this summer or shall I say these day since I know that in the Philippines, the students are very much in their school uniforms again and probably reading Noli or Florante at Laura. Tell me stuff! Love Yah!!!

It hurts. The German team played a top game and shattered at the last two minutes. It was a cruel and harsh reality for the team that proved against all criticisms that they could reach this stage of the WC. I am not happy for the Italians. I just wish Portugal or France all the best. It's difficult to talk about it. I still cannot believe it.
